Practise Spanish while ChatGPT thinks
A ChatGPT pause can be enough to recall a useful Spanish phrase. Start with these examples from LingoWait’s beginner practice, then use the complete sentence outside the game.
Travel: asking where something is
“¿Dónde ___ la estación?” Answer: está. The complete sentence means “Where is the station?” Use estar to ask about the location of a place. Estación is singular, so están does not fit.
Try recalling the full question without the blank. Later, replace la estación with el hotel or el restaurante to practise another location.
Work: introducing a colleague
“Ella ___ mi jefa.” Answer: es. “She is my manager.” Use ser to identify who someone is. Ella takes the third-person singular form es; soy means “I am” and son is plural.

Everyday: talking about preferences
“A mi hermano le ___ las manzanas.” Answer: gustan. The sentence means “My brother likes apples.” With gustar, the verb agrees with the thing liked: las manzanas is plural. Compare “le gusta el café”, where café is singular.
Say both sentences aloud. This helps you practise the pattern rather than memorize the position of an answer.
Make it a small, repeatable routine
